Dupe of bug 1509739? Do you have CalDAV calendars? Is this with 60.x ESR or beta?

Problem has resolved itself with further updates.

Thanks for the reply and for confirming. Do you remember around which version of TB you noticed that the issue was resolved?

The one after when it started - so whatever the version was that came after 60.4.0.

Great. Thanks Paul. Looks like 60.5.1 is where CalDAV stuff got fixed.

FYI, to be aware about...

This bug may not be a direct duplicate of Bug 1502923 for which a patch was issued but hold back due to causing a regression in 68.x branch as Lightning code changed a lot in that branch since 67.x, but it may still be related somehow as it affect TB startup performance due to Lightning...

The current workaround for Bug 1502923 is to make sure that in the Calendar view > Find Event area you choose something like "Currently Selected Day" instead of "All Events" in the selection box prior restarting TB. This would minimise the issue and TB should be working again at a more quicker pace after startup though keep in mind this does not effectively sort the issue, TB would remain unavailable during calendar items loading, just minimise the issue... so TB become usable again more quickly...

Not a solution but may help you to cope with the issue if you may encounter it.

Very similar to this bug in term of performance issue due to Lightning but not necessarily the same root cause...

Hope that may help anyone...
