It seems that isn't possible to copy the text of a link. The are some scenarios this would be useful.

To clarify, there is no option in the pop-up menu.

Resolution: --- → DUPLICATE

874720 refer to an 6 year old bug report. I think it's time to reconsider previous decision. The pop-up seems to have plenty of space to add another option.
