Search sidebar can search a couple dozen sites (wow!), but no
acronym lookup, which is one of the most useful, IMHO.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press F9
2. Click the "Search" bar
Actual Results: No acronym finder.
Expected Results: (...)
I made a partially-working .src file for acronymfinder.com.
I've never done this before, so helpwanted. (If you know of
a better acronym search site, I'd be glad to switch; this is
just the one that I usually use because it's easy to remember.)

I made a bookmarklet with a custom keyword "acro" for this. I just type in
something like "acro YMMV" in the location bar and hit enter. No need to clutter
the sidebar, I'd think.
Location: http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?Acronym=%s
Keyword: acro
Usage: acro YOUR_ACRONYM_HERE (in the location bar)
But why is this bug's status still NEW? Shouldn't it be assigned or even closed?

It's hard to impossible to get any new search engine plugins checked in. As it
was mentioned before, go to the mycroft website where you can add them as you
wish. Wontfix.
