RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1523701

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

A similar description was reported eight-8-years ago BUT
it has worked OK until Fox v65
Appears there is a website certificate(?) handling problem between Firefox v65(latest) and Avast v19.1.2360 (latest). (OS Win 7 home)
Avast 'Web Shield' passes (?) certificate info that Firefox v65 interprets as 'improper website configuration' and blocks sites.........Handoff(?) DID work in v64.

Actual results:

Attempts to access-any-website return error message 'site is configured incorrectly'
('any' includes ebay, amazon, homedepot hobbylobby, google etc, etc)
Strangely, immediately after Firefox startup, first site accessed DOES open correctly

Blocking occurred immediately after updating to v65. Avast was updated appx. a week before and v64 ran OK with that update. No changes were made to user setup between v64 and v65

Expected results:

Based on v64 and previous experience, would expect sites to open.
Did note that there was sometimes slight lag between attempt and open, possibly (?) suggesting that v64 was making an adjustment or check.

I would NOT expect Avast to fault major sites.
