Details

When visiting https://www.theverge.com/ there is a long delay of approximately 3-4 seconds before any content is displayed apart from the black background. Reproduces reliably on Mac on Release/Beta/Nightly. Occurs on first load and every reload.

Hardware: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)

With all tracking protection turned off for the site, the delay is negligible.
