We need a pref to block plugins in webpages, similar to those for images.
I expect to see an option similar to the "Image Permssions" for plugins as well,
and this should be customizable on a per-plugin basis.

Suggested uses: Blocking flash ads from specific servers; Allowing insecure
plugins to run only from secure hosts; etc.
sounds like a dup of bug 94035
This bug is linked to bug 94035, however this bug suggests blocking by plugin
type (which plugin is activated) and the other one by MIME type.
If the plugin type is determined by MIME type this is a dupe. Otherwise, this is
an alternative way of seeing things.

It's not a dup of bug 19118. It depends on it. We might need a plugin manager to
block specific plugins on specific sites, but this is not related to plugin-mime
type association.
Please suggest before marking as dup.

This is a dup because the plug-in manager will be used to associate a plugin
with a mime type or a mime type with a plugin. If you associate a plugin with no
mime type, it will become disabled.

But, this is not on a server-specific basis as it is with Images. See the
suggested uses in my original comment.

The plugin manager will not be able to block flash from one site and allow it
from another, and will not be able to generally block plugins not originating
from the same server.
