RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1285711

People

(Reporter: naruto11031997, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

Nothing really

Actual results:

All of a sudden, whenever I try to open the containing folder of a downloaded file, firefox opens Zenity (Linux Lite Updates) instead of Thunar (File Manager).
OS: Linux Lite 4.2 x64

Expected results:

Firefox should open the file manager (Thunar)

Firefox opens the default file manager of the system. Did you check that setting in your os and tried to switch it to something else and back to thunar ?

In case thunar is the default file manager on your system I would dupe this report to bug 1285711

I already tried but not working

Please also check that there is no wrong "file" entry under menu/options/general/applications .

I only have this config:

I already solved the problem. The default application in Mime Type Editor is changed and I changed it back to default.
