The new Type column in buglist.cgi seems very loud and somewhat distracting to me. Perhaps I'll get used to it but because it's the only column with light on dark text and the dark backgrounds are so saturated, it really sticks out. Perhaps an alternative would be to simply color the text red, green, or blue rather than the background. Or, perhaps no color at all to align more with all the other columns in buglist.
De-saturating the colors would help too.

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking of GitHub issue labels but it looks a bit distracting on the current bug list for sure. The longer word “enhancement” is making it worse.
(Some extra info: The new bug list will have avatars for people so it will be more fancy than the current old-school table. Also in the future, each keyword may have its own colour like GitHub labels.)
I’ve changed the text labels to icons, and moved the Type column to the left along with Summary. The ID column is currently hardcoded in the template, so I’ll keep it for now. See the attached screenshot for how it looks like.

Since Bugzilla forces you download the PDF (hmm, I guess it’s a regression), I've uploaded it to Google Drive for easier preview.

Thanks 😀 Updated my pull request to reflect the changes. If we get a chance, will bump the dev server as well.
