Note

  • When the user chooses the starting point and destination of a trip, selects one of the available route options and then scrolls the list with the detailed directions to take, he will notice that the list is very long and has a lot of empty space at the bottom.

Affected versions

  • Nightly v67.0a1 (2019-02-15) (arch64 build)

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10 v1803 on Lenovo Yoga (table mode)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open https://www.google.com/maps
  2. Create a trip from Cluj-Napoca, Romania to Paris, France.
  3. Choose any of the available route options.
  4. Scroll down the detailed directions list.

Expected result

  • The list should only be scrollable as far as there is content to display.

Actual result

  • The list is very long and displays a lot of empty space.

  • This issue also occurs on Chrome and EDGE browsers.

Sounds like a layout issue in the Google Maps itself.
