Note
- When the user plans a trip in Google Maps and attempts to use the Send to phone feature with a keyboard-only operation, he will notice that he cannot finish the process.
Affected versions
- Nightly v67.0a1 (2019-02-15) (arch64 build)
Affected platforms
- Windows 10 v1803 on Lenovo Yoga (not table mode)
Steps to reproduce
- Open https://www.google.com/maps
- Create a trip from Cluj-Napoca, Romania to Paris, France.
- Choose any of the available route options.
- Select the "Send to phone" icon button and select it.
- Choose any of the available sending to phone options and select it using keyboard-only operation.
Expected result
- The options can be scrolled through by the use of the physical "Tab" key and can be selected the pressing the "Enter" key.
Actual result
- The highlight appears to be incorrectly displayed when scrolling through the options and the options cannot be selected by pressing the physical "Enter" key.
Additional notes
- This issue also occurs on Chrome and EDGE browsers.

So this sounds like a web site bug.
Web sites can control how sequential navigation (Tab key) works, so I guess Google maps has broken sequential navigation handling.
