Hello,

I would like to get a non testing signed version of the FxA Discovery extension V3. This addon is the same as the V2 version [1].

The QA and experimentor team has give the OK to not rerun testing since the code hasn't changed and it was approved in V2. Please reference the experimentor doc for treatment and cohort changes [2].

I'm a bit confused. If the addon is the same as the V2 version, why do we need a new signature? Can you use the V2 addon again, or has something changed?

Hey Michael,

Sorry, I should clarify, the extension code is the same. The difference between V2 and V3 is the shield study configuration [1] and version number. V3 does not have an extension less control cohort and will target only sync users.

After talking to the experimentor team this seemed like the most straightforward way to run this new V3 study. Lief, can you add any additional details I might be missing in experimentor bug.

I noticed that you had the addon set to expire in 30 days, its 28 in experimenter so I'll make that change.
