Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

Visit this page:
https://abcnews.go.com/Health/ways-protect-heart-disease-american-heart-month/story?id=61110773

Actual results:

Video starts autoplaying, with audio

Expected results:

Video should have been blocked from autoplaying, or at the very least no audio should be playing

I found a workaround: Set media.autoplay.default to 1

(In reply to github from comment #0)

at the very least no audio should be playing

That's the case in the latest Nightly. Setting media.autoplay.allow-muted to false in about:config will disable autoplay altogether.
