Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0

Steps to reproduce:

Start Firefox Nightly with GDK_BACKEND=wayland env variable set on a Plasma Wayland session (this crash does not happen under Plasma Xorg or Gnome Wayland), begin to type a URL in the address bar.

Setup:
kernel: 4.20.10-arch1-1-ARCH
KDE plasma version: 5.15.0
Firefox version: 67.0a1 (2019-02-16) (64-bit)

Actual results:

Firefox freezes completely after typing the first letter or two, and only displays half the suggestion drop down before freezing. No additional information appears to be logged in stdout, it just stops responding. It is easily killed by sending SIGINT, but does not respond to any further events in the main window.

Expected results:

Firefox should not freeze here.

Based on other similar reports I'm assigning it to Core:Widged:Gtk. Please change if this is not the right component.
