I am using sawfish 2.0 as window manager. I noticed that browser windows or mail windows opened with the remote mecanism do not have a maximize button. Steps to reproduce: (1) start mozilla (2) open a second browser window by clicking on the bottom left icon. (3) open a third browser window with mozilla-xremote-client 'xfeDoCommand(openBrowser)' Effect: Unlike the first 2 windows, the third one does not have a maximize button. I tried with several window managers and sawfish 2.0 seems to be the only one concerned by this problem (sawfish 1.0.1 is ok). Build: linux 2002061908 System: Debian
this is actually a problem with the way windows are opened and not really XRemote's fault. dupe of "-remote 'xfeDoCommand(openInbox)'" opens wrong type of window *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 117114 ***
