Crash Data

x86_64 Fennec 67 Nightly builds have been live in the Google Play Store for about a week (bug 1505538). So far we have only one crash report in Socorro:

bp-3c71a821-06a0-4b83-bbe5-532880190217 from a user running Android 8.1 (Oreo) on an Acer Aspire S3 laptop (?!). Is the user running Fennec in an Android emulator? Do our crash reports distinguish emulators from real hardware?

Bug 1164027 has the same ElfLoader crash signature, but it was caused by a driver bug crashing Adreno GPUs on our Autophone test devices.

That's a deliberate crash that Snorp added in bug 1127464, and means something really fishy happened.

Flags: needinfo?(snorp)

Yeah, it looks like this Intel driver is calling exit() in case of some error just like the Adreno one.
