From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
BuildID: 2002053012

IE6 is able to load this page in about 1-2 seconds. All threads in Mozilla lock
up for about 15 seconds, making it impossible to work while the page loads. It
is definately a complicated page, but nothing should cause ALL threads to lock.
This is a problem I have seen with many complicated-to-render pages where other
browsers are able to load them in a fraction of the time.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.go-mono.com/class-status-System.html and watch Mozilla act
like a single threaded beast.

Actual Results: Mozilla acts like it is single threaded and makes me stop my
everything until it gets done trying to render that page.

Expected Results: Mozilla should have loaded the page in at least a slightly
efficiently.
WFM 2002061708/trunk, Debian/sid (Athlon).

While loading the page, I pulled up Mail/News and opened up another web site
(TheReg) in a neighboring tab. Mail/News and the other web site loaded and were
fairly responsive. There was sluggishness, but not enough to keep me from using
Mail/News or surfing the other site.
No problems for me on Windows 2000 sp2, maybe its an XP problem?

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020610

wow - using trunk build 2002061908 on win-xp after loading the Mozilla is
frozen and after a few seconds win-xp crashes! (causing an error in the nvidia
driver). [so unfortunately no TB nummbers]

>Mozilla acts like it is single threaded

well, mozilla _is_ single threaded
how many colors is your display device in.. millions or 256. I know of issues
concerning 256 colors.. nvidia, etc. It would be very helpful to be specific
about what graphics enviornment produces this result.. there are problems with
specific senarios. i will take this bug.

Using a Dell Latitude C810 notebook with a GeForce2 Go running at 32Bit color-
depth.
Nvidia driver provided by Dell version is: 1.7.6.0 (digitally signed my
Microsoft).
That's a very old nvidia driver I think
That's the very latest provided by Dell - one or two months ago (the internal
driver date is February 2002 [think that's the Nvidia codebase]).

Trying the page also on a win2k workstation, 1.1ghz with a NVidia Riva TNT2
Model 64 card didn't crash but the scrolling was really choppy.
This loads fast and scrolls just fine on my computer.. athlon 1.5 ghz, nvidia
graphics card. Another issue has come to my attention that may or may not
effect this bug. Bug number 154568 also has some scrolling issues related to a
regression . This bug is either a dup of that one.. or 148598. I am duping
against the later.. there are some GIF and javascript issues.. and its easier to
keep track in one bug.
