Details

The ecosystem pings need a special ecosystem client ID.
The exact mechanism is currently the subject of discussion.

Once that is settled we need to implement it and include it in the ecosystem pings.

Duping this forward to bug 1635662 because I was curious how the existing pre-account ping (soon to be the unified account ping) did this, and found this bug mentioned in the code, and that bug is about doing this for real.
