Details

On several sites, gif images do not display from time to time. A workaround consists in clearing the memory and page cache (Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Cache) and reloading the page when this happens. Maybe it's the image cache that's full and doesn't release automatically.
Reporter: Do you have HTTP Pipelining enabled in your prefs?
or Do you use NS6.x ? What happends if you open the image in a new window ?
I confirm this. Problem cleared after clearing the memory and page cache. Gifs affected (usualy http;//www.google.com first, this is my home page), even the gifs here at bugzilla were affected for me. Right click on image, view image, and the page says the image cant be displayed due to an error in the image. I also noticed this problem affects flash.
Oops, sorry, running latest developer build 2002062508 on win XP. No pipelining enabled.
