Details
While "Night Vision" (dark theme) is enabled on TVTropes.org, scrolling cannot make use of the picture cache anymore. All tiles are constantly invalidated.

"Night Vision" is a switch on the right sidebar.
Performance feels about the same, though. GPU time rises from ~6.5ms/frame to ~8ms/frame, while the workload moves from mostly B_Image to mostly B_Solid.
