Middle click to paste sends your clipboard to websites even if you're not middle clicking a text input field, under Linux (for example when I want to autoscroll imgur).

Steps to reproduce:
When visiting https://imgur.com/ I click my scroll wheel to autoscroll. Seems to only happen if you don't move your mouse while clicking the scroll wheel.,
Actual results:
Depending on what's in my copy buffer, this causes various behaviour like an image upload starting. I'm assuming what's in my copy buffer gets sent to the website by accident.
Seems like a security problem because you may be sending data in your copy buffer to websites that you don't want sent.
Expected results:
Just auto scroll, no pasting.

You can turn off middlemouse.paste
in about:config to stop this behavior. As it is, this is a known issue that's already on file, so I'm marking this as a duplicate.
Thanks for the reply. So is this something that will be fixed? I do appreciate middle button to paste, just not outside of input text fields. Guess I'll disable middlemouse.paste for now.
After reading what was written in the duplicate, I'm thinking perhaps you should consider setting middle click pasting off by default?

Opening this up given the dupe was opened up.

See comments in bug 1515783 about why this isn't likely to happen.
