Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3683.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Refreshed Firefox 65.0.2

Actual results:

After 11 minutes, I restarted the machine. Yes, I am that guy with a timer - I have several egg timers on the desk and a Pomodoro tomato. It is windows 8 so, yes, it is a piece of crap and gets lost in the bushes, often and I have to restart. Etc.

Expected results:

Apparently, I killed all my bookmarks. Sure, my fault, you guys have lost your damn minds NOT having a progress bar and by NOT saving the bookmarks. This is one of the most catastrophically stupid social engineering errors I have ever heard. First, you guys are falling behind Chrome for basics. And now THIS kind of thing. The bookmarks. One of the most important things to users. And NOOOO you have not upgraded the tags or ability display a much more usable bookmark page --- fine -- but you do a glitch y update called - Refresh - it takes SO DAMN long users think the machine is broken. Nahhh - you could not do small bits (update 1 of 11) or (1 of 15) for like 15 seconds the next 10 times it updates, nah. But you scrap the bookmarks!!! Really? Really?
Is part of the team doing this selling for Chrome or Opera? WTF? Richard.Weddle@gmail.com

Which UI were you looking at when you restarted your computer? Was it the dialog that lists the data types that are being copied? Or was it the indeterminate progress bar window that appears after? Or was there no Firefox window open? I'm trying to understand why you restarted the computer in the middle of a Refresh?
