This seems like a recent regressions. I source mozilla-central/python/mach/bash-completion.sh in my profile script. This is helpful, but has overall impact on the autocomplete function (via Tab) in the bash prompt. Recently (few days ago tops) the script hugely (several seconds) delays all autocomplete, including files and directories.

I'm on win10, MozillaBuild 3.2.
