Details

From HN: firefox denies access to 'navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition' even if the user clicks "allow" (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19431146)

Maybe this is the quota?
Or this is a bad interaction with the Windows api?

Hard to say without more info...

I wrote the referenced comment on HN. Turns out about:config "geo.provider.use_corelocation" = false as described in another comment(https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19433708) solved my problem. I spend about 5 hours googling about the issue and did not came across any solutions. I think that should be better documented, eg showing that "you gave this page access to your location but firefox did not get the permission the access your location by your operating system"

Yeah, we could improve the wording, thanks
