My OS: Windows 7 x64
STR:
- Open a youtube video and set the volume to something that isn't the default.
- Open a youtube page with links to videos (e.g. frontpage, playlist, channel-page).
- Open one of the videos in a new tab.
Expected result:
The volume should be remembered from the last time you set it (step 1).
Actual result:
The volume is reset to its default (I'n my case this is 100%, but maybe this could be different for others users?).
Regression Window
Mozregression
I ran into issues with both mozregression-gui and mozregression CLI last time, and I haven't been able to solve them yet. But I do have a manual "regression window".
Manual "regression testing":
I intially discovered the bug after the update from 'DEVEDITION_67_0b2_RELEASE' to 'DEVEDITION_67_0b3_RELEASE', so I did some basic manual "regression testing" by downgrading to 67.0b2 where I can not reproduce the bug. I can therefore confirm at least this regression window:
- Last "good" build: DEVEDITION_67_0b2_RELEASE
- First "bad" build: DEVEDITION_67_0b3_RELEASE

Thanks for the report and for including the regression range. https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-beta/pushloghtml?fromchange=DEVEDITION_67_0b2_RELEASE&tochange=018abdd16060b7849be760b348242a12ec8cf4dd&full=1 is the changeset that maps to what you have.

Need a better regression-window to do anything about it.

Hello Johan C,
I tried to reproduce your issue on a Windows 7 x64 machine but I could not reproduce this issue using the steps you mentioned. Can you please try again and see if this issue still occurs? and if yes are there any additional steps that you can think of?
Thank you!

Hi Daniel, sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
I retested with the latest Nightly and dev edition (68.0b5) and I was unable to reproduce this bug.
