I try to build myself Release 1.0 from official FTP source release.

Building with xft requires expat in other-licenses. I've pulled it from CVS backup.
I don't know whether expat in main directory should be the same. Further,
supplied other-licenses/Xft cannot be used for build. I've also pulled it from
CVS-backup.
Building with freetype requires last version of freetype, otherwise one had to
pull other-licesse/freetype from CVS-backup. 
Building with SVG requires other-licenses/libart_lgpl, which ist to be pulled
from CVS-backup too.

other-licenses is not anymore at http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/,
supposedly not in CVS anymore? I used some CSV backup found somewhere at the Net. 

All above mentioned requirements are not documented at all at

I stand corrected. The sources for other-licenses *are* in the official FTP
release. I used SuSE SRPM for build and for unknown reasons they have removed
almost all other-licenses stuff.
