Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Steps to reproduce:
- open Firefox Wayland either with firefox-wayland or GDK_BACKEND=wayland firefox
- right click to open context menu/open any context menu from Firefox directly (e.g. bookmarks) or from extensions/type something in address bar, so menu with suggestions appears
(tested on Fedora 29 GNOME Wayland and Sway with Firefox 66 from Fedora repo with clean profile)
Actual results:
- often, but not always context menus flicker heavily, only parts of it are displayed
- selection under cursor is not highlighted/cursor doesn't change (although entries are clickable in Firefox's own right click and hamburger menus)
- it's not possible to interact with most context menus (e.g. in uMatrix, if menu is shown properly and cursor selection is visible (both only sometimes the case), the selection is far off the actual cursor position and clicks don't do anything)
Expected results:
Menus should display properly and they should be able to interact with as expected. There were no such problems under Wayland in Firefox 65.

Should be already fixed in 66.0.1, it's Fedora specific.

Unfortunately this problem still exists in Firefox 66.0.1-4 on Fedora 29. Menus flicker/are often not readable/disappear, selection follows cursor only slowly, it's not possible to interact with some extensions like uMatrix.
