I have tried to download with build 2002062109, and am having the same problem
that the previous builds have. When clicking a link to download, The Open
with/Save box comes up. When I choose save to disk, and hit yes, the box
disappears, but no file download.

So when the dialog of open or save appears, you click OK, then does a file
browser dialog appear?

Very unlikely, but could it be that files are actually being downloaded but your
preferences are set to hide any download feedback (don't show the download
manager nor a progress dialog)?

When I would hit download, the Open box would come up, I would choose 
save, but then nothing would happen. I save to the desktop, so I could tell 
there was no download.

I have not been able to expirement for a few weeks.

Problem has not occured in the week of using build 2002072203.
