Affected versions

  • Windows 10 Tablet Mode

Affected platforms

  • Nightly 68.0a1(2019-03-25)

Steps to reproduce

Prerequisites:
Use a device that can be set in the Tablet Mode and please set it to that mode.

  1. Open the browser
  2. Enter in the Customize mode
  3. From the toolbar select the avatar icon (using your finger) and try to change its position.

Expected result

  • The icon is moved.

Actual result

  • You can't move the icon.

Additional notes

All the items from toolbar have this behaviour.

If you tap once and then drag, does it work?

I actually can't reproduce. Testing on the Lenovo Yoga ARM64 testing device.

I'm using a Surface Pro 2 machine and I still can reproduce it, the icon can't be selected/moved even if I tap once.

On your device, is this a regression since bug 1299286? It should be working (and because it does for me, I'm not really sure how to investigate further).

Summary: The Avatar icon can't be moved from the Tool Bar using you finger in Tablet Mode → Icons can't be dragged from the toolbar using you finger in Tablet Mode
Summary: Icons can't be dragged from the toolbar using you finger in Tablet Mode → Icons can't be dragged from the toolbar using your finger (touch dragging) in Tablet Mode

I retested this using the build before the fix from bug 1299286 to be landed and it worked as expected and after the update to the latest Nightly 68.0a1(2019-03-27) I wasn't able to reproduce it any more, I will close this as Resolved WFM.
