Details
Affected versions
- Firefox 67.0b5 (20190325125126)
- Firefox 68.0a1 (20190326214944)
- Firefox 66.0.2 (20190326175229)
Affected platforms
- macOS 10.14
- Windows 10 x64
- Ubuntu 18.04 x64
[Prerequisites]:
- Have a valid netflix account.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Firefox and go https://www.netflix.com/.
- Login with the account from the prerequisites.
- Hover over a random video from the right side of the browser.
- Drag a random control button (ex: sound control).
Expected result
- The video controls can’t be dragged.
Actual result
- Dragged controls appear far from the mouse indicator.
Regression range
- This is not a recent regression because I can reproduce it on Firefox 59.0a1 (20180112220334). I will search for a regression range ASAP.
Additional Notes
- The issue is also reproducible by dragging video controls from the left side of the browser.
- On macOS the behavior is different and the dragged content comes at the mouse indicator location.
- Clicking the right arrow to see more videos from that category and dragging a video control button from the left side makes him appear far away from the mouse cursor.
- Attached a screen recording with the issue: link.

I tried searching for a regression but with no luck, because on Firefox 30.0a1(2014-02-04) the issue is still reproducible and on older builds from this date nothing happens when hovering the video, so I think this is not a regression for this particular case.

This sounds like it might be related to bug 1376369 (-moz-user-select and/or draggable keywords)... not sure if Netflix is using that styling though, as I don't have netflix credentials handy.
