In the cascading windows that open after selecting "move to" or "copy to" from the message title window's context menu, in addition to "File Here" and the subfolders, I'd love to see a menu entry "Create Folder Here".

Eudora has this feature. It will be sorely missed by Eudora users transitioning to Mozilla.

MASS-CHANGE: This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state. If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way. If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar). If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state. Query tag for this change: mass-UNCONFIRM-20090614

I've sought this functionality in Thunderbird ever since moving from Eudora. I even posted requests for this functionality (not here, unfortunately). IF this enhancement request falls on deaf ears because it's somehow tied to SEAMONKEY please tell me how this tyro to bugzilla and its conventions can create a new request under Thunderbird.

Aha. Just found it under Thunderbird so not an issue here anymore (for ME). Thanks.

And what is the Thunderbird bug number, if you "just found it" there?

Jens - Had you asked that back in January when I posted that comment, I might have had SOME chance of answering it. But I have no idea any more, sorry. It's been 4 months, after all, and I only visit here when desperately searching for an answer to this issue (since I'm a USER, not a DEVELOPER).

I could not find this functionality in Shredder (TB trunk), but that doesn't really matter. Confirming RFE.

So, is this a Seamonkey bug or a Thunderbird bug? Apparently the former. Maybe we should clone it for Thunderbird.

(In reply to comment #10) > So, is this a Seamonkey bug or a Thunderbird bug? Apparently the former. Yes, just look at Product. > Maybe we should clone it for Thunderbird. Comment 7 suggested it's fixed for TB, but if it's not (and that's how it looked; maybe it *was* fixed *at some point in time*, and then reverted?), feel free to clone this one or file a new one for TB.

I absolutely agree with this addon. It would save a huge amount of time -- given that I have hundreds of folders and sub-folders.
