From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020611 BuildID: 2002061104 When view this site I often open 2-3 of the articles which are full with flash ads I now only use IE to view them as once they are open the broswer becomes very unresposive and can take serval minutes to switch betweens any mozilla windows. When this occurs generally when I switch back to an article or the front page the flash animation are rendered far before the page is rendered. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load page http://www.theinquirer.net. 2. Open several articles into new windows. 3. Switch between windows minize restore them ect until the error occurs. Actual Results: The broswer all but stops when I forget about this I usually close down the broswer ( I kill the application ) and reopen the broswer as it takes less time than trying to kill each window. Expected Results: Normal viewing.

WFM. I opened up to 9 or 10 tabs, and Mozilla was still responsive. Using trunk build 2002081304 - WinXP. Reporter : did you try with 1.1b release ?
Yeah I have still does it I think it might just be a problem with the netscape/mozzila plugin for flash it seems to hog all the CPU.
Reporter : did you try with flash plugin 6.0 r50 ? It seems to be the latest one available on macromedia site. And can you also try with a 1.1 final release to see if the bug is still alive ? Thanks a lot.
