Details

(Whiteboard: [about-performance-v2])

We discussed adding a page (e.g. about:gpuperf) that allows a user to click a button which runs a bunch of GPU tests and reports what works and what doesn't (or what is fast and slow). This would be useful when standing up a new GPU/platform as it can help us decide which codepaths to take. It would also be useful for debugging problems reported on a specific device; we can have the user run this test and report the results which could point us in the right direction

Priority: -- → P3

maybe we could have that included in about:performance ?

about:performance seems like a very different usecase so I don't know if it makes sense to merge them. But I also don't know anything about "v2" of about:performance, if it's going to be generalized in scope then maybe merging makes sense.
