I want to be able to create a mail account without an incoming mail server
associated, since it's a forwarding address. But the Wizard and the account
manager don't allow me to do that.
Right now I created the account with a fake incoming server name, but that's an
ugly workaround.
Cunctator, what would be the purpose of such an account that will never receive
any e-mail?

As I said, it's a forwarding address. For example, cunctator@kband.com forwards
to another account, so there's no incoming mail to that address, but sometimes I
want to be able to send mail as cunctator@kband.com.
Ah, I see. So, what're you're talking about here is the ability to have "sender"
addresses that aren't necessarily tied to an actual e-mail account.
This is the feature requested in bug 44863.
