Steps to reproduce:

Click a link in an app that is configured to open in Firefox.

Actual results:

The page opens but the address bar is focused (and empty).

Expected results:

The address bar should not be focused when a page is loaded into the new tab. The behaviour is the same as opening a new blank tab, but shouldn’t be if a page was loaded.

Hey Brian I believe this is happening only when New Tab is set as blank page. Can you please let me know if this is happening when you set New Tab to any other option? Thanks.

You are correct. If I set the new tab page to something else it works as expected. Only blank page is bugged.
