From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020611 BuildID: 2002061104 In the Certificate Viewer, accessible from the menu Edit->Preferences->Privacy & Security->Certificates->Manage Certificate the public key size of the certificate is nowhere to be found. You can actually count it yourself in Details/Subject Public Key Info/Subject's Public Key but it would be nice to have a etails/Subject Public Key Info/Subject Public Key Size tree node.

This bug should IMHO be fixed for the 1.0 Branch. If only because of public concern, I've seen quite a few discussions about this. Users should be given the chance to determine how secure is the encryption used on any secure site. I'm requesting a blocking flag..
Flags: blocking-aviary1.0?
(In reply to comment #3) > This bug is not a duplicate of bug 78837. No, you are wrong. John U is correct.

I have created a patch for bug 307319 which I believe addresses this problem. Unfortunately, the "certificate size" is not a meaningful information. What the original submitter is requesting is the that the size of the Modulus field of the RSA key is displayed (if the public key actually is an RSA key); the patch does that.
Depends on: 307319
