1)try to print an email message [CTRL+P or FILE>PRINT] 2)print properties dialog comes up ok, click OK to begin printing. 3) Downloading from URL location progress meter pops up and then printer print dialog shows begining of spooling. 4)printer print dialog disappears before first page is printed. 5) nothing is printed. after reading known problems for latest release, I tried setting print spooler to "direct to printer", this results in Mozilla crashing when trying to print.
WFM 1.1A winXP. Networked HP1100. Reporter what type of printer setup do you have?
Printer setup: Xerox M750 printer connected via USB. The printing worked fine with all the previous releases - I have been using Mozilla as my sole email client and browser since the 0.9 pre-release build.
*printing works from all other applications of the computer (notepad, Word XP, MSIE 5.5, Excel). *the download from URL progress bar never appeared in printing from previous Mozilla builds.
I have tried to reproduce this problem with a current mozilla 1.2 nightly under windows 2000, but have so far failed. My printer is a HP Deskjet 880C Reporter could you please try and retest with a more current build of mozilla and let us know if the problem persist
since installing build 1.2a I have not had a problem with printing.
