Steps to reproduce:

I lost all my extensions in Firefox 66.03 due to bug 1548973. I then enabled "Studies" per the recommended instructions.

Actual results:

My extensions came back, but all of my Multi-Account Containers were gone and the settings appeared to be reset back to default. (I had four or five custom containers on top of the defaults.) I have attempted no other mitigation other than enabling Studies. I am now on 66.04 but the containers are still gone. I have seen many reports of this happening to others.

Expected results:

Multi-account container settings should not have been lost.

Is there any way to restore the ones I already had?

Hopefully whatever caused this can at least be fixed for the future.
