When composing a message, mozilla seems to default to format=flowed.  When you
are composing a message that has 2+ spaces at the end of some lines, this
apparently causes those lines to get concantenated when the message is read
(because it used format=flowed).  I assume this is a problem with the composer.
 If there are lines that end in spaces, I would think "format=flowed" should be
turned off.  I guess the composer could remove the spaces, the the user may have
intended those space for some odd reason.

I found this problem when I sent a table that I pasted.  The text happened to
have spaces at the end of the lines.  Not having simple ASCII WYSIWYG is very
annoying - especially with tables.  I even made the table "Fixed text".

p.s. it would be nice if "fixed text" and no "format=flowed" could be made the
default with some preference setting.


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Compose message, To: whoever, Subject: whatever
2.End first line in body with 2+ spaces (i.e. "hello  ")
3.Put something on second line (i.e. "world")


Actual Results:  When reading the above message, the first and second lines will
get concatenated (i.e. "hello  world").


Expected Results:  Lines not concatenated.

What Mozilla should probably do is to disallow manually entering ending spaces
in lines. If I type "something<SP><SP><CR>" then mozilla should eat both spaces.
This seems to work if I enter "something<SP><CR>".

I did this: I entered this message:

As I have noted in the duplicate, I am not seeing this problem with 1.5 Final; I 
am seeing all trailing spaces on a line truncated, regardless of the setting of 
mailnews.send_plaintext_flowed.  There may be another preference which is 
affecting this behavior.
