1550833 - Bookmark sync dosn't work correctly on PC and smartphone

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

Steps to reproduce:

I use Firefox on two devices, each with Sync:

• PC, Windows 10, Firefox v66
• Smarphone, Samsung S8, Android 9, Firefox v66

I have on my smartphone two subfolders in my bookmarks: Folder "1" and "2".
In folder 1 I have a bookmark named "bm-test" and folder 2 is empty.
Then I make the sync on the smartphone and after on the PC. After the sync I have the same folder-file-structur on the PC.
Then I move (not copy) on the PC with drag&drop the bookmark bm-test from folder 1 to folder 2.
Now, on the PC, folder 1 ist empty and the bm-test is in folder 2.
Then I make the syncs. First on the PC, then on the smartphone.

Actual results:

Now you can see, that on the smartphone the bookmark bm-test ist still in folder 1 instead in folder 2. That's the bug. I have tested it several times, always with same result.

Expected results:

After the syncs the bookmark mb-test should be on the smartphone in folder 2.

Hello. thanks for your report.
I tried to reproduce your issue on the latest version of Release 67.0 but I wasn't able.
Devices:

• Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 9);
• Nexus 6 (Android 7.1.1).

Do you have some specific settings? Also, if you have additional information, please let us know. Maybe a video with the flow would help. I'll wait for your update, thanks.

Hello Stefan,
today I have reproduced the bug on the same hardware as descripted originally. But this time I used Firefox v66.0.5 on both devices. The bug is still existent. I don't use specific settings. I made a videoclip with 54 MB (20190521_121055.mp4). Here ist the link to download:

Hello Alfons,
I tried another one time to reproduce this issue using Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9) and Sony Xperia Z2 (Android 6.0.1) but I wasn't able.
Build:

• Release 67.0;
• Nightly 68.0a1 (2019-05-17);

I will keep an eye on this issue on my daily work to see if I can reproduce it, anyway I found a meta of this issue in our bugs. I'll make it as depending on it to be easier tracked. If you have more information about your issue don't hesitate to let us know, thanks for your help.
