Seeing this error a bunch in logs:

1557526062633 Sync.Engine.Extension-Storage WARN Syncing failed: Error: HTTP 507 Insufficient Storage: Resource access is forbidden for this user (Maximum bytes per object exceeded " "(31759 > 16384 Bytes.)(resource://services-common/kinto-http-client.js:2645:5) JS Stack trace: ServerResponse@kinto-http-client.js:2645:5
processResponse@kinto-http-client.js:2792:13

I have the new Rust bookmark merger enabled, but I don't know if it is related to that.

See the log for further detail, happy to help troubleshoot in any way.

Mark, can you help triage this?

Mark, can you help triage this?

This is the kinto-based extension storage syncing and not related to "sync" at all, so David probably the right person to triage.

Component: Sync → Storage
Flags: needinfo?(markh) → needinfo?(ddurst)
Product: Firefox → WebExtensions

Why is this a security bug?

In any case, I'd say this is probably expected, but I'm pretty sure our limit is supposed to be more than 16K

Why is this a security bug?

I imagine there's a concern around PII in the attached log, so "moco confidential" is probably more appropriate.

I marked the attachments private.
