** Observed with 10/4/99 Win32 M10 candidate build **

I have 3 mail accounts and 1 news account.
What I want to do is change SMTP server setting via
Edit | Account setup.
But when I open the Account setup with this build,
the only thing I can do with this window seems to be to change the
very first entry selected. When I try to select any other setting
to edit, nothing happens, i.e. this action seems disabled.

SMTP server entry comes at the end and so this seems unchangeable
via this method.
As the setting of the SMTP server is a critical piece of info for
sending mail in M10, this looks like something we need to fix for M10.

What I mean by "this action seems disabled" is that when you
try to select icons other than the first one on the left pane,
it is not selectable. The window display on the right never
changes from the settings for the 1st entry.
Possibly the same cause as http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15355
which is in the Preference dialog?

Hrmm...this sounds like the same as 15466, but this is supposedly with M10?
Good question. Kat, ftp://sweetlou doesn't show any M10 builds dated 10/4. The
last M10 build was dated 10/3.
There was a typo in the original report. The date is supposed to be
10/3/99.

The build on which I reported is: 1999100319 Win32.
This is the M10 candiadte build for Windows.

looks like danm checked his tip fix into the M10 branch. Reassigning to dan
(since he did the work) then marking fixed.
Target Milestone: M10
Since the next M10 build should include a fix for this, I'll set
the TM to M10.
Kat - you should check with Esther and Laurel. The M10 they are using from 10/3
does not have this problem.
Lisa, Thanks. I just looked at today's M10 build and the problem
described here no longer exists with that build. So it is indeed
fixed with this build. I still have the same problem with 10/3 M10
build.
