User can set shortcuts for his app in the mac settings. For example when I set the shortcut 'command+E' for minimization. Under normal circumstances, 'command+E' will replace the minimized shortcuts in all apps, which is worked in other apps, but not in Firefox.
In the Firefox menu can see the minimized shortcut has been changed from 'command+M' to 'command+E', but clicking 'command+E' in Firefox doesn't respond at this time. I can only click 'command+M' to complete the minimum.
If I minimize the shortcut key to 'command+Y', I can do the minimization. However, as far as I know, 'command+E' is also not occupied.

This is because Cmd+E is a built-in shortcut, which cannot be changed yet. See bug 1333781.
