Calendar bugs get filed in the Calendar product. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=Calendar
I did a quick test with Tasks with Lightning 6.7.2 in TB 60.7 on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Linux and couldn't reproduce.
I only have 3 on my computer and it didn't matter which one was selected. The correct calendar appeared in the New Task creation dialog and I could select another from the drop down list.
Selecting version 6.2.5.1 in Tracking because 6.2.7 isn't there yet.
Do you checked it with a local or network calendar?
My calendars are all network calendars (one of my company, the rest private (caldav).

Do you checked it with a local or network calendar?
My calendars are all network calendars (one of my company, the rest private (caldav).
I'm pretty sure they were local calendars.
My Google Calendar has a separate Tasks list I can subscribe to. I just subscribed to that network calendar and created a task. It showed up in the proper Google Tasks lists calendar and I have it as a selection in the Task creation dialog.
Okay, I tried creating a task with my regular Gmail network calendar selected in the Calendar List and it was not selected in the Task creation dialog box. Only my 3 local calendars and the network Google Tasks lists.
Switching to my Thunderbird 69.0a1 which has a Google CalDAV calendar also doesn't allow me to select that calendar for creating tasks, only events.
I would say CalDAV calendars don't know what a task is and the user can only create events.
I can't create an Event in the network Google Tasks list calendar. It isn't an option in the Event creation dialog.
I'm not sure this is a bug.
Geoff any thoughts?

Only some calendars support tasks. The new task dialog will choose one that does. I don't see a problem here.
Ok, it is not a bug. I understand now. Therefore I have added a local calendar to use this one for tasks. But how can I change the order of the pre-selected calendar for a task?
Let´s assume that main calendar does not support tasks and I have 3 more calendars which support task. The 3rd one should be be my standard one, but TB suggests always the 2nd one when main calendar is selected before creating a new task?
This could be something as a feature request than instead of reporting a bug.
And how do I have to mark this report as solved as it is no bug?
