IMAP search: error pops up when search from the top of the tree

IMAP search: error pops up when search from the top of the tree
Platform: MacOSX
Steps:
1. Go to your IMAP account
2. Go to Tools|Search|Search Messages
3. Select the top of the IMAP folder tree for "Search for messages in:" so you
can search mails in all folders (Click on dropdown list and select "choose this
folder" for your IMAP)
4. Perform a search.
5. You'll get the following error.
The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Mailbox does not
exist
POP account doesn't show this problem
