Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Use Firefox behind a proxy that requires authentication
- Navigate to a site in normal mode -> Firefox asks for proxy user and password (once)
- Open a private browsing window
- Navigate to a site in private browsing mode
Actual results:
Firefox pops up the proxy user and password confirmation dialog for every single request(!), resulting in numerous confirmations to load a single page.
This renders private browsing behind an authenticating proxy useless.
Expected results:
Like in Firefox 66.x and before, Firefox should pop up the proxy user and password confirmation only once for each private browsing window.
