Mostly filing this bug to remind myself to investigate this more closely. My machine gets bogged down very easily when watching twitch streams. Seems to mostly be a function of the target render size. So for instance if I shrink the window down to ~1/4 of my screen it can play alright, but past that it can start causing my laptop to become very unresponsive.
Just now it seems to have caused a crash, I think from running out of memory for textures?

I don't think I generally have any such problems with youtube.
I just turned off document splitting to see if that improves the situation.
