From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529 BuildID: 2002052918 The page works fine with with netscape 4.75. I cannot see the picture (a cgi generated counter) with mozilla. In my settings I allow any image to be displayed. The counter.cgi script can be found in the comment section of http://www.risc.uni-linz.ac.at/people/hemmecke/bugzilla.html Maybe this is a just a problem with the settings but I have not yet managed to put them in such a form that I see the counter. So I believe this is a bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just view the website and note the missing counter image. 2. 3. Actual Results: missing counter image between the parentheses Expected Results: show the image (consisting of one or more digits so the width cannot be put into the html page
This works for me on Linux, build 2002070108, can you try one of the latest nightlies (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/) and check if it's still a problem?
You _are_ accepting all images? Including ones from servers other than the main page? And not blocking that particular site?
Hi I'm using 1.1alpha (2002061104, currently under Win98), and the image is displayed correctly. I cannot confirm the problem here. (What I first thought about when reading the name of this bug, is that sometimes images _are_ displayed by Netscape 4.x, but aren't by Mozilla (when their size is set to 0 by 0)). Did this problem disappear in newer versions of Mozilla? With regards, Taco
Update your Build RC1 doesn't display the image 20020704 does it.. The image is an xbitmap.. seems like we now support xbitmap's Was this fixed by bug 18502?
.ooh.. bug 18502 was fixed a long time before your build.. But download a newerbuild and let us know if it works for you..
wfm using build 2002070308 on Linux.
Mail from Ralf: I removed the .netscape and .mozilla directories so that the default settings will be used. Then I installed, the latest mozilla version. Build 2002070321. Surprisingly, now it works. Then I copied my old .mozilla back to $HOME and started mozilla again. It still works. But the older version still shows the problem. Sorry for bothering you guys. And thanks a lot.
