When replaying, we can't find breakpoint or logpoint hits in a section of the recording until it has been scanned. If scanning is pretty far behind, it can take some time for a breakpoint hit to be resolved. At least until things are tuned well, it is nice to indicate which regions of the recording have been scanned, which can be done pretty unobtrusively by shading those regions a little bit in the timeline.
