Having the First Party Isolation (FPI) extension enabled breaks launching a zoom meeting from Firefox.
Steps to reproduce:
- install https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/first-party-isolation/
- load https://mozilla.zoom.us/j/485324212
- if you don't have the zoom app installed, install it when prompted, and repeat (2)
Expected results: The first load of the given URL when the zoom app is installed should switch to zoom and join the meeting.
Actual results: Offers to download the zoom app again.
(I tested a few minutes ago on up-to-date 64-bit Windows nightly channel that enabling/disabling the First Party Isolation extension changes whether this works.)
Note: I suspect the mechanism that zoom uses to launch the app is related to the registation that you see in Tools (menu) -> Options (menuitem) -> General (tab) -> Applications (section) -> zoommtg (Content Type) being Use Zoom Meetings (default).
Note: I'm aware I've burned that meeting ID -- it was a meeting ID I used for a single 1:1 meeting last week that I don't intend to reuse.

Hi Freddy, could you help verify that this bug is still reproducible?

I'm currently using first party isolation and can join zoom meetings.
dbaron, we're closing this as it does not reproduce here (I'm the author of the extension, but haven't been involved with implementing FPI).
Please feel free to reopen and clarify if this is still broken for you.
