Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.1a+) Gecko/20020703
BuildID: 2002070308

In Netscape 4.78 when I drag a image or link to the desktop of the Finder I make
a copy of that particular image on the desktop. Under Mozilla it just leaves a
link or a clipping with the ALT-tags content.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Browse to a page with a image eg. www.mozilla.org
2. Drag a random image to the desktop
3. Drag a link to a file or link to another page

Actual Results: You now have a couple of MacOS links on the desktop but no files

Expected Results: I would have expected having a image file or other file on
the desktop
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020705
Build ID 2002070505
Mac OS 9.2.2 English-North American iMac with 768 MB of physical RAM

I have confirmed this bug on my system.

In contrast, I get the correct behaviour with both iCab PPC 2.8.1 and IE 5.1.5
i.e. I can drag the banner gif from the top of the mozzila.org page off onto my
desktop
